Construction Manager I is responsible for field supervision and quality control for coordination of our company   new site construction.  The candidate works directly with our company  subcontractors to facilitate installation of our company   provided equipment. The candidate is responsible for coordination and order of power and telephone facilities. The candidate is responsible for overall installation of all construction work required for the site to be on air in the month planned. The candidate is also responsible to ensure quality control measures are followed and site is completed per our company   design standards.  Bachelors Degree or equivalent may be required.  2 years related work experience required.

Strong Microsoft office: Excel, databases

Supports and coordinates all aspects of field construction project activities for cell sites. Directs and provides technical guidance to outside engineering firms, contractors, and vendors; and coordinating utilities, access, and inspections. May also be responsible for coordinating the co-location activities of other carriers as they construct on existing company facilities. 

The Construction Manager provides leadership, construction management and deployment management oversight to support the execution of our company¿s current construction programs and future market construction projects.    

Oversees the field-based construction projects from design through implementation.   Conducts site 
inspections/audits throughout the construction and market acceptance phases.  Coordinates with OEM, construction vendors and EMS market construction leads on all construction matters.  Identifies construction or deployment issues and works with OEM or construction vendor  to development resolutions.  Monitors overall construction projects for cost, schedule and  quality in markets assigned.  Communicates with the Market Manager regarding status of specific projects.  Plans and directs the 3rd party audits and coordinate with OEM to resolve any issues found during the audits.  Monitors compliance with corporate, federal, state and local plant and construction regulations, policies and procedures.  The Construction Manager 's daily tasks include generation and review of completed of bid packages, coordination of site visits with engineers and contractors, generation of project schedules, reporting, implementation of construction standard, site audits, on- site construction management of CGs and other duties as assigned.

Up to 50% travel required 
¿ Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school
¿ One year experience working with construction contractors 
¿ One year experience managing construction projects from design through implementation
¿ One year site development experience
¿ One year deployment experience
