Work closely with key IT and business stakeholders to improve the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of key data within our company. You will contribute to the identification, assessment, and design of data integrity controls. You will support the IT Risk and Compliance team in all aspects of application and infrastructure design within our company’s technology environment. As a key risk advisor, you will be addressing business issues and processes that impact both current and future IT systems and system data flows

At least 5 years relevant experience required. Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and creating comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability, for existing and new applications supporting various business channels. This position understands how organizations function to accomplish their purpose, and defines capabilities an organization requires to provide a service or meet their goals. Facilitates communication between organizational units to align the needs of business units in order to create requirement work products for solution providers. Plans, directs and completes the analysis of business problems to be solved or product/services to be developed for delivery. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Assesses system impacts, provides gap and process analysis as well as cost/benefit analysis for system or product/service related initiatives. Acts as liaison between the user community and internal IT resources. Plans, facilitates, and participates in working sessions with cross-functional resources.

The Senior Analyst, IT Risk will work closely with key IT and business stakeholders to improve the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of key data within our company. As an IT risk management professional, you will contribute to the identification, assessment, and design of data integrity controls. You will support the IT Risk and Compliance team in all aspects of application and infrastructure design within our company’s technology environment. As a key risk advisor, you will be addressing business issues and processes that impact both current and future IT systems and system data flows.

This role requires the ability to work cross-functionally with IT teams and key stakeholders, utilizing analytical skills in dissecting complex problems, and delivering clear recommendations to reduce risk and improve operational control results.

KEY ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Document system and business process flows to identify and assess data integrity risks, such as lack of input controls, data validation, interface controls, error processing and resolution, and financial data reconciliations.
• Provide technical support in the assessment, design and implementation of controls to address data integrity gaps.
• Work with process and control owners to monitor and manage data integrity requirements at the application, database, operating system, and process levels. 
• Facilitate the remediation of data integrity control gaps, and escalate possible critical issues to senior management within IT. 
• Collaborate and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced and matrixed work environment. 
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with quality and in accordance with a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Produce detailed timelines for each assigned project and implement effective project controls by monitoring progress and reporting status.
• Validate and update documentation as needed to ensure scope, testing, and remediation activities are accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology or Computer Science preferred. 
• 3 to 5 years work experience in IT risk management, SOX compliance and/or auditing and a strong background in internal controls.
• Experience with data quality-related work, including data warehousing / BI.
• Experience with systems integration, data reconciliations, and implementation of system process controls.

A “nice to have” skill would be a background in a framework called “COBIT” however this is not required to be considered for the role.
